REFUGIO PORTÁTIL PARA SIN TECHO

Con este diseño pretendemos promover la recuperación y uso de la palabra DIGNIDAD en el mundo de los sin techo.

Con el fin de obtener flexibilidad y movilidad, parecía que la  utilización de una circunferencia como rueda era un acierto, ya que es facilmente transportable. Sin embargo, estábamos absolutamente decididas a incluir los usos mínimos que cualquier persona necesitaría, además de dotarle de suelo y un techo.

Era un desafío conseguir incluir todos los parámetros en el mismo diseño, pero dedujimos que el hexágono sería la única forma poligonal que nos permitiría tener en cada lado un uso diferente que cambiaría girando el hexágono a nuestro antojo, ayudándonos a mantener  siempre un suelo y un techo. La solución clara era entonces inscribir el hexágono en otra rueda que giraría independientemente de la externa, usando un mecanismo de giro sobre tubos con aislamiento térmico.

No podíamos olvidar la energía, así que incluimos un par de colectores solares que rodeaban la rueda exterior, ya que iba na estar permanentemente expuestos.

With this design we are intending to promote the recovery and use of the word DIGNITY in the context of the homeless world.

In order to get the flexibility and mobility character, it seemed that the circumference used as a wheel was a certain choice, as it can be easily transported. However, we were absolutely determined to include the main uses an average person would need, and get his life framed by both a plain ceiling and floor.

It was such a challenge to include all the parameters in the same design, but we figured out that the hexagon would be the only polygonal form that would allow us to have on each side a different use that would change by turning the hexagon around, and yet maintain always the plain floor and ceiling. The clear solution then was to inscribe the hexagon into another wheel that would turn independently from the outer one, using a bearing mechanism.

We could not forget about the energy, so we included a couple of solar collectors surrounding the exterior wheel as it was going to be permanently exposed.
