REFORMA DE UNA BUHARDILLA PARA ESTUDIO
REFORM OF AN ATTIC FOR AN OFFICE
El proyecto consistía en ampliar una vivienda abriendo su buhardilla antes inutilizada, lo que precisaba abrir una nueva escalera para su acceso.
La parte no diáfana de la buhardilla preexistente estaba formada por tabiques palomeros, que se abrieron para introducir entre ellos diversos armarios prácticables aprovechando así, todo el espacio.
Para aportar luz natural, se hicieron tres operaciones diferentes: incluir un par de velux en la cubierta, abrir una ventana que enmarca el paisaje, y añadir otro par de lucernarios transitables en el suelo, para dotar de iluminación natural a los baños que se encuentran bajo ellos.

The project aimed to expand a house by opening its attic formerly unused, so the first approach was to open a new staircase for access.
The non-diaphanous part of the pre-existing attic was formed by brick openwork roof supports , which were opened to introduce among them several practical cabinets, thus taking advantage of all the space.
To provide natural light, three different operations were fullfiled: firstly to include a couple of velux on the roof, secondly to open a window that frames the landscape, and then to add another pair of passable skylights on the ground, in order to provide natural lighting to the bathrooms found under them.
